Essential/Basic Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Mainframe technologies i.e. COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, TWS (Scheduling), IMS and preferably Hogan.
• Preferred Qualifications:  B.E. / B.Tech./MCA

The candidate should preferably have:

• A track record of successful developer roles undertaken on medium to large projects.
• Experience in a large commercial organization in a developer
• Excellent communication skills to business and technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of Mainframe technologies i.e. COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, TWS (Scheduling), IMS and preferably Hogan
• Knowledge and experience of more than one recognized development methodology e.g. waterfall

Responsibilities:

• Project delivery including design, development, testing (80%)
• Project Management i.e. compliance to processes (10%)
• Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Operational Risk Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards.
