Job Description ::
The Technical Consultant determines how to implement the client’s
business needs (requirements) using technology solutions. The consultant
takes technical responsibility to ensure the solution is fit for
purpose - considering and evaluating alternative options. The consultant
provides solution planning, design, integration, operating system
migrations and implementation that may be independent of particular
vendor products. The consultant provides project leadership when
interfacing with clients and will be involved with Sales, Planning,
Delivery, and Support. The practitioner provides consultation,
proposals, and pilots, proofs of concepts and technical qualification of
third-party vendors. The technical consultant performs these functions
as a specialist in one or more of the primary technology areas.
