Candidate Profile :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in telecommunications engineering, IT or computer engineering or electronics or electrical.
- Good knowledge, skills and hands-on experience in 2G, 3G and LTE RAN Transport for Design, Planning and Optimization.
- Sound Knowledge & hands on of 2G/3G/LTE RAN interface and Node Dimensioning (Abis,Ater,Gb,IuB,Iu,S1,X2,RNC,eNodeB etc)
- Sound Knowledge & hands on of 2G/3G/LTE RAN KPI analysis and Optimization.
- Sound Knowledge of Route cause analysis for 2G/3G/LTE RAN issues.
- Sound knowledge of IP basics (Routing, Switching, MPLS, QoS, VLAN/IP planning). CCNA/CCNP and similar certifications will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of ATM Planning (AAL2 Multiplexing, AAL2 Signaling, VP/VC Traffic descriptor)
- Sound knowledge of RAN Products. Multiple vendor exposure (such as Ericsson, NSN, Huawei, ZTE) will be an added advantage
- Sound knowledge of RAN KPI trace analysis.
- Good knowledge of OSS platforms and RAN Node integrations to OSS.
- Open standards like 3GPP, IETF, ITU etc. Knowledge of TEC GR on the relevant products.
- Regularized updates of latest RAN releases and products.
