Cypress Semiconductor Corporation hiring Systems Engineer
- THIS IS for NCG-2015 for PSD under RRAM. The primary functions of the System Engineer are to define, develop and deliver embedded system solutions. The individual shall be responsible for hardware development across the entire development life cycle of a kit.
- The following are the responsibilities involved
- Interfacing with Marketing and Applications teams to understand requirements
- Hardware design
- Firmware Development
- Schematic capture and review
- Layout and Gerber review
- Cold Test and functional Testing of hardware
- Package and release kits by interfacing with manufacturing team
- Maintain released kits.
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics from allowed colleges.
- 0-1 year experience in system architecture, firmware design, hardware design, or embedded controllers required
- Must have hands-on microcontroller experience with exposure to various microcontroller architectures and tool chains
- Analog applications experience desired with knowledge of precision analog circuits, ADCs, DACs, Op Amps, Comparators, Power management ICs etc.
- Sound understanding of logic design concepts; hands on experience with EDA tools and PCB design a strong plus Knowledge of industry standard protocols and interfaces (I2C, UARTs/Bridges, Audio amps, LED/GPIO/LCD, USB, RTC etc.) and exposure to emerging standards and technologies Strong programming skills C and Assembly language programming Capacitive touch sensing domain expertise is a plus Good communication skills and must be a team player to work across cross-functional projects across time-zones and locations. Should be a roll-up-the sleeves, trouble-shooter with ability to multi-task.
