- Candidates should possess A Bachelor of Science or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science or related technical discipline; or equivalent experience is required
- Should have 1-3 years experience is preferred for this role.
- Experience in software testing is desired
- Good understanding of test tools
- The successful candidates will possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, a solid understanding of standard testing techniques and methodologies, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Have work experience with SQL, Oracle, Hadoop
- Working knowledge and hands on coding experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Perl,Python,Java
- As a QA Engineer you will work as part of a team responsible for validating NetApp ASUP-DPS software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for ASUP products.
- You are expected to develop, modify, and execute software test plans; analyze and write test standards and procedures; maintain documentation of results; and work closely with development engineers in resolution of problems.
- As part of the ASUP function, the overall focus of the group is on competitive market and customer requirements, technology advances, product quality, product cost and time-to-market.
- This position requires an individual who is creative, team-oriented, technology savvy, takes initiative and is driven to produce results
